Creeks not far from Sudak built the settlements Kapsikhor and Ay-Serez two thousand years ago. Today only the traces of the ancient castle in the village of Morsckoye can remind us about those days. Hundreds of guests come there every summer for rest. A plenty of sunny days from May till October, long and wide beaches, clear and warm seawater, lots of fruits and vegetables, remarkable Crimean wines, many local tourist attractions and hospitality of the local people ensure them excellent vacation. In the village there is the Crimean Tatar ethno-cultural center "Kapsikhor-Ay-Serez" where is the fine collection of old utensils, books and works of Crimean Tatar artisans. Here you can learn the history of the region and buy the lovely souvenirs. The director of the center offers the tourists some pedestrian excursions around the ancient village with visiting the mosque of XVII-XVIII centuries and the old lighthouse "Choban-Kule". They can go into mountains that surrounded the village, so called Crimean Switzerland, and admire the wonderful views, drink the sweet water from the mountain springs, have a rest at the beautiful lake and fish.
