Cold Mountain hunting ground is situated on the territory of a Belogorsk reserve. The inhabitants of a small zoo that live there in roomy open-air cages meet the visitors of the forest just at the gates. The tourists are also invited to watch the pheasant’s nursery.
Hidden under the tall pines and oak-trees there are a few cozy cottages with 2-3-bed comfortable rooms (showers, toilets, cold and hot water), and a detached dwelling with a dining-room, hunting hall with a log fire, billiard and sauna. The main attraction of the forestry is a hunting cottage of Nikita Khruschev, a former USSR leader.
The hunting reserve is very popular with hunters that come there in high season not only from the Crimea and Ukraine. In the forest there are a lot of fowl, hares, foxes, wild boars and roes.
