Kazantip 2013 Dates |
RENTALS
25 January, 2013 Kazantip 2013 is about to take place in half a year and you already need information now? Surely it is logical to give out some of the plans for such a massive and breathtaking event well in advance, but do not forget what country it takes place in. We are talking about 6 month here, and Ukraine is a country where plans for a couple of weeks ahead are subject to change thousand times before they will work. We never told you that though, if someone asks... jk. Jussayin'. What we do already know is that in 2013 Kazantip will be opening some day shortly before 3 August 2013, most likely on 31 July 2013. The opening party is expected on 3 August 2013 and the closing is pre-scheduled for the 18th. So if you are going from overseas, plan your airline flights correspondingly or better yet purchase tickets with open dates so you could fly any day you wish. It will be a little bit more expensive, but, we are telling you, KaZantip is worth every penny! Also be ready for a shortened program this year. Organizers decided to compress and shorten the duration of the event in order to make the program, parties and discos more fun and saturated. If you cannot stay long, for 4 weeks or so, you will no longer need to choose whether it is better to attend the 'Opening' ceremony or 'Closing' one. You will be able to go to both! Oh yeah, about that. Let's overlook a little bit the things that will happen there for sure. From what we already know. Live on MarsWeek of live music taking place on the Faberge (in Russian - Фаберже) dance floor. This is an idea to give new bands a chance to be heard. Something like Eurovision, but with no competition and no votes. Just fun, good music and excitement. This dance floor comes alive a little bit earlier than all others and gathers lots of people who just arrived at Kazantip Republic. Yep, Republic. A bunch of 'rebels' created their own 'country' within the country. That is why in order to get there you need to get a viZa which is a special entrance card allowing you to be on the territory of the Z-Republic. Normal people would call it a 'ticket', but... yeah, you got our point. Z-GamesIt is a special competition in water sports, first of all in kitesurfing which is considered an official kind of sports of Kazantip Republic. Since exactly a surfing championship gave birth to Kazantip in 1992, the organizers decided to honor the history and make kitesurfing a part of tradition. Around 100 kitesurfers from Russia, Ukraine and other countries compete annually for prizes and places. Well, it looks more fun than it sounds like. Come this year and see yourself! Do not forget that from the last year on you have to complete the online registration form first to apply for your viZa. Bureaucracy rules! Stay tuned! |
